.... The Incredibles on Ice was very very cute. Thanks so much, Tiff, for inviting us to go with you! Your brother, sister, grandma, and even nephew (the stinker that he is!) are so very sweet! :)

....And to anyone who's not seen a Disney on Ice show, they're really quite good. Of course, the good is that good old-fashioned Disney cheese, but that's sometimes exactly what the doctor ordered! ;)

Why Try To Go Out??

....OK, so yesterday, I wanted to go to Hobby Lobby. One of my favorite all-time craft stores. Kinda like a Wal-Mart for crafts, only they offer half-off deals a lot. So, most of you know that I often don't leave my house for a few days at a stretch, and this happened to be one of those times. I might have left, but it was with the entire family, and I often leave my purse at home on such occasions, because why leave it someplace, right? So, Aaron takes Collin to karate, and I decide to brave Hobby Lobby with the Gruesome Twosome. I get on everyone's coats and shoes, and get ready to go, only to realize that I don't have my purse. No biggie, it's upstairs, I say. I go upstairs and realize that the female half of the Gruesome Twosome had emptied it, which I'd forgotten. Well, she also "put away" my wallet. In an undisclosed location so secure it was likely that we'd never see it again. I'm yelling, looking around the office for any sign of my wallet, asking them "Where did you put Mommy's wallet??" Erin simply looks at me and says "It's right dare, Mommy," pointing to the already located Green Apple Vera Bradley backpack purse, complete with Cranberry Lipstick smears (You'll never GUESS where that came from!). "You might as well take off your jackets because we're not going anywhere!" I yell at them. They leave me to piss and moan and search all by myself. Well, I finally resign myself to the fact that I'm not going anywhere, when I find the damned wallet in with my ADHESIVES, this nice little basket that I keep them all in, which isn't locked, so therefore will not keep little fingers from getting glue dots on everything. So, I yell to them that we are, indeed, going to be able to go to the store, which, by now, closes in 45 mins. It's about 10 mins away. Way-fucking-hay, I think to myself. But I need to go, so I'm going, even if I don't get a few beloved minutes to sigh and walk up and down the aisles, itching to put stuff I don't need into my cart. Anyway, we get there, I get what I need, and we head home. No the story keeps going....I get home, and Aaron's pulling into the drive at approximately the same time I am, and they're looking at me, like there is something wrong. Apparently, when they got home, shortly before I did, they discovered the house to be standing wide open. The garage door is up and the door to the house is wide open.

*sigh* I'll eventually get my brain back. LOL

And that's not even what capped the night off. I shall not burden you with any more than my question posed to my nine year-old son. "How could you NOT know whether or not it was you who peed on the bathroom floor? It was less than five minutes ago!"

I've Found My Mojo! :)

Two sweet friends have ordered calendars off me for Christmas presents! :) Nothing like a deadline to bring back the mojo! LOL And Nain...I know I need to give my mojo a rest, but you know that's not possible around here. Doing these calendars, while work nonetheless, is what is going to keep me sane. I got part of them done tonight, too.

Of course, one of the sweet friends has invited me to go with her and her family to see Incredibles on Ice tomorrow. I'm excited, as I've never seen a Disney on Ice show. I've heard great things, so I can't wait!!

OK, it's already past my bedtime, so off I go!

I've Lost My Mojo......

....I feel like I've hit a brick wall today. Well, that feeling started last night. I've so lost my mojo to do much of anything! Can someone please help me find it?

....Part of the reason why I feel this way was that I slept on the sofa last night with Griffin. After the fourth time of waking up to him screaming, I just decided to pack his butt downstairs and sleep with him there. He didn't wake up again, thankfully. I did, though, as my arm fell asleep. Could this contribute to my loss of mojo?

Monday Night Football..... I the only one on this great green planet who thinks that it should start a little earlier? This shit's for the birds. And I really wanna know what the hell's going on with the Colts. And so does m'boy. Letting him stay up until 12-midnight is just a little on the extreme side, no? 10:30 is bad enough, and that only gets him to half-time. The poor boy!

And they really expect me to deal with five toddlers tomorrow on less than eight?? Fuckers. Someone call my lawyer.

Oh, wait. I'm a poor desperate house-wife wannabe....I don't have a lawyer.....

Off to bed with my grumpy ass. Sweet dreams, all!

So Far Today, I have....

...fed four kids breakfast.
...made and played with red playdough.
...cleaned up mess.
...doled out five snacks of graham cracker sticks.
...made and painted with red cornstarch.
...cleaned up mess.
...made and doled out five lunches.
...cleaned up mess.
...made "what i did today" lists for three kids for what we've done so far today.
...hung them up on the bulletin board.

Not too shabby if I do say so myself. I would really love to keep this momentum going. Am hoping that the kids will be good nappers today so that I can fold some laundry and do something else, but forget what it is. Relaxing is on the list, too.

Tonight, my assistant's family is coming over for chicken and noodles. It's in thank you for the man of the house cleaning up our yard for us. You see, it's pissing down rain today. Pissed down rain yesterday, and will piss down rain tomorrow. And the next day. And then it will be very cold. So the fact that this man spent 35 minutes of a beautiful Saturday afternoon doing something that would have taken us four hours is something that needs to be repaid! I'm excited to have them come over tonight, as I have a relatively clean house, and am dying to be able to have people in it without cringing. I just wish this cleaning momentum were here before Thanksgiving. ;) I know my family still loves me, despite my abundance of dust and fridge funkiness. LOL

Other than that, life is good today in the Zoo. *said in a whisper as not to anger the Daycare Gods and suffer their terrible wrath*

Busy, Busy Day.... the land of the Zoo. Really busy. But all in all a good day, so this chicka's not complaining. We got up and went to church. Don't laugh at me, I know I'm a heathen. But when you've got twin toddlers, you're allowed to be a heathen, methinks. It actually went well. We did leave right after communion, which we hate to do, but we were there, and that's all that matters.

So after church, we came home and got our stuff ready and went to Aaron's parents' house. It was relaxing and we had a good meal of lasagna. After that, we came back here, and I cleaned all three bathrooms, cleaned out the fridge (it doesn't smell funky anymore! woot!), and swept the floor. Oh, and I also put all of Erin's clothes back into the dresser. We also went out to good old Wal-Mart hell and went shopping for some things. We actually did all of our shopping in under an hour, so all was not lost.

There is still so much to do, but I'm so stinking proud of myself for getting that done! :)

I'm Alive....

So yes, I'm living. But just barely. You husband had this Clavinova as a kid. Aaron's mom wanted it out of her house, so we got it when we moved one of the many times in our eight and a half year marriage. Well...have you ever moved a Clavinova? If you have, you'll understand me when I say that the sonofabitch is fucking heavy.

Anyway, I've been a slave to my crafts the past few days. I've completed ten of the twelve working planners. Yes, I said ten. All done. All covered, ribbon-tied, and ready to wrap. So, I've only two more left to go. I'm seriously thinking of listing a few things on ebay, but I've not finished contemplating or taking pictures, so it's not happened yet.

Aaron, over the past few days, painted our living room. It's now a funky pumpkin color. Schweet! :D It's one thing on the long list of things that need to be done to this house. So one down, several left to go. Now it's time to decorate it. We went to the mall today (with a friend, otherwise, we'd have never left our own little five-mile radius of shopping to visit a PPPPAAAACCCKEEDD mall), and stopped by Kirklands and found some really cute stuff that we might get to hang on the walls. Woot!

Other than that, not much ado. Well, I do have to report that while warming my heart and playing together today, one of my kids fell down the stairs. That would be Griffin. He was ok, but a little freaked out. Ya don't say? But he did just fine and managed to whine his way into watching another Thomas video. Which brings me to my last funny before I bid you a fond Adieu.... Last night, Nain came by to visit us, and when it came time to get the kidlets to bed, Griffin did EVERYTHING he could to stay up and watch a movie. He even asked Nain if she wanted to watch Princesses with him. I about pissed my pants before I sent him up to bed. What a crafty little man he is!

A Success! :)

Thanksgiving was a success. I can't even begin to tell you how much having it at my house means to me. And I can't even begin to tell you how much my husband rocks, because he made the bulk of the meal. I made the cranberry relish and the green beans with bacon...and the corn that my grandma brought. That's it. He made the turkey, stuffing, and sweet potato casserole. Doesn't he rock? You can be jealous of me, I know for certain that most men don't do these types of things.

One thing that bothered me about the day was how my dad and his mom went at it the whole time. My grandma is one of the most difficult people to deal with sometimes, because she is the quintessential martyr. And my dad is soooo much like my late grandpa that it's scary. And they fought. Every time they communicated. I teased my mom and told her that she has her own gruesome twosome to deal with. LOL

So I'm working like a mad woman on these calendars. I only have a few more weeks before life gets hectic again with the daycare and with other Christmas plans in general, so I am going to keep working like a madwoman on them.

....i'll go back to sniffing glue fumes now. first book is nearly complete...have decided that this would best be served by using yucky sis-in-law (definitely not nain we're talking about here....) book to see if i can actually use this design. Sadly, am fearing that i can't use this design! *sobs*

The Zookeeper and the Blustery Day....

....nothing much going on today. cleaning for tomorrow a bit. taking care of just two girls. though those girls are really starting to be happy handfuls! ;)

....i finished my friend's planner pages. she can buy her own damn binder and filler paper, though. :P she's already aware of this, too. hehe right now, as i write, aaron's working on binding the library pocket calendars. neither of us are genius when it comes to bookmaking, but i think it will work out just fine. hopefully he'll teach me so i can make the others myself. we shall see.

....and regarding yesterday's post...i must admit that it wasn't calling someone out for being a lurker on my blog, but more feeling needy for comments, as i know that more than just my known faithful followers read up on my blog, and i want to know what they think and to give me some love. feeling needy. that's all.

....we're preparing for a hellacious turkey day tomorrow. we've bought all the fixings, it just needs to be fixed now. i'm so going to need all the good-cook vibes that you can throw my way. i don't want to screw up my first-ever thanksgiving feast. aaron's going to be helping me, but that doesn't mean we don't need some luck! hehe

de-lurking tuesday.....

i know you're out there, i can see if you read this, please let me know what you're thinking....EVEN THOSE WITHOUT BLOGGER ACCOUNTS CAN POST COMMENTS! ;)

Thanksgiving Shall Be..... my house. This Thursday! Nervous, me? A little. This is the first time I'll host something like this. It's like a rite of passage. My Dad, Mom (step-mom for those of you who get confused), and Grandma are coming for sure. And then my three brothers *might* come, too. We shall see. I doubt that anyone will be poisoned by what I do. hehe

....other than that, nothing much going on. You can go to my scrapping blog to see my latest project if you like.

What Fresh Hell Is This?

....a line I've copied from an old collegue of mine. And what fresh hell it is to help with my very first book report......

....sing it with me...."a book report on peter rabbit...." brownie points to the person who knows what song that line is from??

Busy Sunday Morning.....

....OK, so I sorted through FOUR bags...four. large. bags. of clothes "given" to me by my sister-in-law. "Given" because she was originally going to give them to the Goodwill. And all to probably avoid the scrutiny of family at the thought that if she's given four bags away, whether there remains any clothing left in her closet. And the thought that she really does have clothes left in her closet. Which is amazing. Clothes-horse would be the understatement of the year when it comes to her. Anyway, Zookeeper's got a new wardrobe. hehe

....Last night I addressed the bulk of my Christmas cards. And to think that I still have more to address. And Why? Cos I don't have their addresses, and they're not listed online. *sigh*

....So this morning leaves me wondering whose bright idea it was for me to have twins. I can't. do. a. damn. thing. when they're around. I've finally realized why my house is an absolute fucking pit. Because when I'm doing something, say, like cleaning the baths, they're off destroying something else, leading me to wonder why I even started in the first place. The laws against killing your offspring are so unfounded. (just teasing, put the phone back on the hook)

Non-Napping Babies.....

....I'm surely in hell.....

Riding the Crafting Train.....

....Christmas cards....all 80 of them done! just need to address them now! (and make sure that certain UK'ers get them this time.... :S

....bag book for my assistant for her birthday...half-finished....

....eleven birthday calendar/planners....done, except for the covers (which i want aaron to help me with)....

so this weekend looks nice and open, which i LOOOOVEEE!! i do get to see Dante's little sister today, which just makes me happier than anything! ;) their parents are going to see Harry Potter today, and so grandma is bringing the kids over to hang out here so that i can see the baby and that mom can be within five minutes of the cinema to feed the baby before she leaves and as soon as humanly possible after the movie's done! LOL

hope everyone else is having a lovely weekend..... :)

A Happy Birthday Boy.... we had a fairly good day yesterday, despite the fact that Griffin didn't nap at all, and Erin only napped an hour. Usually the twins are TERRIBLE in restaurants, but did very very well last night at Collin's selection...el Amigo...which, incidentally, we had been to this week once already! lol last night I came home and did Alaina's birthday calendar. Though for the element of surprise, it will not be posted here. hehe today, I get some new TOOLS. firstly, i'll get some paper to add to my Christmas cards. I have already folded 100 cards (yikes!!), and will likely use almost that many. I have such a big family, since both my parents are remarried, and I get on OK with everyone enough to send them a card. Talk to me again once I've paid postage. ;)

...So this weekend? I think that we're going to take a group of boys to see Harry Potter's fourth movie and go to Steak N' Shake. I just have to call everyone to confirm and ask another boy. We shall see. If I'd have known that they were doing midnight showings, I would have seen about taking Collin last night, despite the fact that it's usually against my nature to do such things. We have spent many an hour reading these books, coupled with the fact that it came out on the "morning" after his birthday. Would have been fun. *sigh* oh, well! Other than the party of sorts, we've really nothing planned. Which will give me time to get Aaron to help me get the covers made for these calendars. I'm on a roll! :D

Happy Birthday, Collin!!

...He's NINE today. NINE years ago, I was in the hospital, with super-high blood pressure, calling my family to get their asses up to the hospital because I was having the baby. So very hard to believe. NINE years ago, I was laughing hard at the thought that I was missing my own baby shower, which had been a surprise until that day. we feasted on Orange Rolls this morning. And Collin will later open a new bike helmet and t-shirt, which I know aren't real birthday presents, but he's opening them anyway, and a Paper Mario game, a few books, and some Yu-Gi-Oh cards. We will also be eating at a restaurant of his choice with Aaron's parents (and sister, perhaps), before Aaron goes back to school for his music concert. Not too shabby of a day, but it would have been nice for Aaron to be home all day. Such is life. *sigh*

Why Yes, I'm Bored Today.....

....the exhibitionist comes out in me....go look . sorry for any disappointment on anyone's interpretations of exhibitionist! tee hee

....the first flurry of the year in Hoosierland. It was warm enough to go without a jacket to check the mail yesterday (and not freeze!) i'm going to need to wear a scarf so my nose hairs don't freeze! lol

....aside from the wacky weather, not much happening at the Zoo today. More of the same. I so need to clean the daycare area again, but have no desire to do so. *sigh* know, I really did used to have interesting things to talk about. Mostly when I worked outside the home. If anyone wants to discuss Disney, PBS, Noggin, and Nick Jr. shows, give a shout!

Calling Peope Out.... guess what I learned today....someone has been stealing my friend's blogger posts and using them as her own. Not only is she doing it to my friend, but also another blogger. How very sweet of her. Why don't you go over there, and tell her how nice she's being to borrow things, but to please give it back. ;)

On a Crafting Binge.....

....ok, so I have a buddy who thinks that the calendars might not be such a good idea to give. He's a man, and he's an accountant, so what does he know? ;) He won't be getting a Christmas card, either. Which isn't such a far stretch, since I failed to send out all the overseas cards last year anyway. LOL

Speaking of cards, I've got the images stamped and colored for them. Just waiting on the paper to come in so that I can finish them. D-Day is December 1st, methinks.

But yes, this has become quite the crafting binge. I really don't have much left to do for Christmas, and this all really didn't cost me all that much. $30, maybe? Though it cost a whole butt-load of my time. Which is OK, because that is helping to keep me sane. Tough work it is, too. ;)

So since I have so much left over with the paper, methinks I might try and sell these planners on ebay? If it doesn't sell, it doesn't sell, but it might be worth a shot. What's a buck to list when I might recoup some of my scrapbooking money? hehe

Other than the huge craft binge I've been on, which, incidentally might help my recent hand-to-mouth habit of eating, not much is happening here other than retrieving children from various precarious heights.....

These are The Times....

...when being a mommy is the best. I just kissed the twins goodnight, and had to kiss and hug both of Erin's bears after getting the best little snuggles off of her. :)

A Case of the Mondays....'s not that bad, actually. It's Monday, though, and whoever likes Mondays, anyway?

Nothing much ado at the Zoo today. This weekend was ok. Collin spent the night for the very first time at a friend's house. That was fun for him, and he's bugging me to do it more often now. My baby's growin' up! *sobs*

I worked like a banshee on my calendars this weekend. I've nearly got all (seven) of them ready to bind. It was so much easier just making them assembly-line style. If I do mass produce more, I'll do it differently next time, but do everything on the calendars pretty much the same. I'm debating on whether or not to post my latest creation, as I know for certain one of the recipients reads this thing, and I'm not sure whether she wants ALL of the surprise to be blown...LOL

So I bought this cute little Snowman plate at this open house this weekend....I go up to wash my face and put on some clothes...yes, it's chipped now. *sobs*

B.O.H.I.C.A.=military term used for "bend over, here it comes again"

Yes, folks, my mental health has taken a dip again. And this time it's just because my little lovely daughter has taken to destroying everything I own. Scrapbooking supplies, make-up, walls...the list goes on.

That, and I got turned down for that nanny-type position.

Otherwise, it's been a decent weekend. I bought some paper (yes, I know, but someone else I know has it, it's really cool, and damn it, I WANTED it. lol) at Hobby Lobby. It's the "die cuts with a view" brand cardstock. Why so special? It's textured and has a white core, so when you sand it, it looks muy cool! There you have it. A little needed pick-me-up.

I've been churning out my assembly line calendars. I've got all seven sets assembled for the most part. Now comes the fun part of embellishing them. Then I will be enlisting Aaron to help me cover them all with the crescent board that I bought. I figure if I make them right, then people would be able to carry them in their purses (should they not throw them away in disgust first!). I might try listing one on ebay, too, just to see whether it would sell or not. We'll see. It keeps me sane and busy. Idle hands are the devils handiwork, you know. Makes me not eat as much, either.

OK, so there you have it. Go, Colts for the Sunday afternoon! Miami, 1972, baby! LMAO I'm so not a football fan, but to see your hometown team doing so well makes it worthwhile.

Friday, November 11, 2005

....I really need to make more of an effort to get more sleep. i am making quite the effort to get these christmas gifts under way, though, so all is not lost, aside from a few hours' sleep. at least i didn't have to get up until about 7:00 this morning! woot! plans for the weekend. aside from what you already know. lol i might go tonight to get some free stuff from my mary kay lady. we'll see. other than that, more of the same. gotta love life. lol

A Night Out and A Finished Project.... I got to go out last night. My assistant, Ashley, came over and stayed with the kids while Aaron and I went to a Mexican restaurant and Birthday/Christmas shopping. I had the best burrito, called a cilantro cream burrito, and Aaron had a Buritto Del Mar (some burrito with shrimp and crabmeat in it...bleugh) and a really good margarita. We then headed to Target to do our yearly spree. It is so easy to buy for the twins, and a lot of fun, too. We looked around everywhere, and every time I would see something she liked, I would do an impersonation of her... You see, every time we're out and she sees something she likes, she screams like a sorority girl about it. She has her own way of saying it, but usually it's a loud "Strawberry Shortcake!" or "Princess!" I can't figure out how to make it read like she says it, but it's absolutely hilarious, I tell you. So, here you have me, a 28 year-old woman saying these things in the middle of Target! lol

Collin, on the other hand, is getting a bit tougher to buy for. As he gets older, his "toys" get more expensive. Gone are the days where we can wear our Santa hats into Toys 'R Us and come out with a ton of toys for fifty bucks. Sad in a way, but understandable. He's no longer at the point where he wants things like twelve-dollar blow up Thinking Chairs. Now it's forty dollar Gamecube games. And that's OK, because every year, we dig a little deeper into our pockets and Santa pulls through for the boy.

And it doesn't matter how much I spend, it's totally the look on their faces that makes it all worthwhile.

***eta: if you want to see the finished project, go look at the scrappingblog! ***

Anyone Hear of....

....this? my daycare assistant showed me her space here. is this like some sophisticated blogosphere?? i'm such an old fart. lmao

Benefits of Katie Being in Maryland....

....a three-month jump-start on Girl Scout Cookie sales.....

....thin mints, yum, yum!!

down some kids for a while.....

....maybe for a long while, we'll see. lol but for the moment, one is in brazil and one is with his brand new baby sister. and i got to sleep in until 7:15 today. and will get to sleep in until 7:15 tomorrow. ;) woot!

....other than that, not much ado in the byers' household. lots of the same. dirty laundry, coloring on miscellaneous surfaces, and falling babies.

Erin's New 'Do

So, fed up with how scraggly her hair looked, we decided to cut it. *sobs*

This pic, however, totally encompasses Erin's personality. She was actually refusing to let me get a pic of her, so I had to try everything to capture her.

The Library Pocket Calendar is Up!

....go here to view it! You'll have to scroll down to see it, though, as the pics distorted the view a bit....

don't worry...i've already informed katie of the damage, and she says that she'll still love it! ;)

OMG....I am going to kill a girl....

....she just colored on the calendar that i worked so hard on.....i was taking griffin to the bathroom, when she snuck in the office and took a pen to it....jan, mar, may, june, july, and aug all have erin's handiwork on them....

i might just cry ok morning shot to hell in the matter of two minutes....

and griffin didn't even go potty.....

We're Safe....

....the tornadoes were a good three hours south-west of me, so we were fine and dandy. We did, however, have a lot of wind, and suddenly have leaves in our yard, though we have no trees with leaves.....

....i cut everyone's hair yesterday. the boys look same-old, same-old, but erin's got a new 'do. when i get the camera batt's charged up, you'll get to see her. it's weird with her short hair, but it's cute, so i'm not too sad that we did it.

....i finished part of one of the calendars that i've been talking about, so i'll post a pic in my scrapping blog when the camera batts are charged up....katie already knows that she's getting it, so she'll just have to act surprised when it shows up... ;)

...ok, back to the grind. i'm down a kid today, since his mom had a baby on saturday. i'll miss him, but hopefully he'll return in january....we shall see. but...they're still trying to tear the place up, so i better get back to it! hehehe

The Porch Fairy Strikes Again..... I have a fairy who leaves stuff for me on my porch. One time it was a birthday present disguised as Spongebob, next time it was a batch of chocolate chip cookies and some diet Coke, and now it's some teas, German rum-cake, and some undies for the-boy-who's-too-scared-to-tell-me-that-he's-got-none-to-wear. I have a very good idea of whom it might be, so if you're out there, Porch Fairy....thanks. You're too sweet!

A Wonderful Evening..... today was pretty much the run-of-the-mill day. Not much ado at the Zoo. I have a child who might be in a commercial for a local hospital. Her audition was today, which brought the count down to four extra. Can we say heaven? It was a good day. Attitude runs high amongst the two year-olds of the crew, but other than that, we're doing ok. And I honestly mean ok. Strange to say, huh? Not to say that there aren't days where I'm totally wanting to curl up into the fetal position in a corner and chew my hair (thanks for that one, Nain!), but I'm doing ok today. For this very moment.

....Why, might you ask, am I having such a change in heart? Well, I found some of my perspective....though I do admit that some of it has still gone missing. I'm feeling a little more human these days. The other part, I can thank my two dates for the evening, Tiff and Nain. I had the most wonderful time going out to eat with you tonight, girlies. We drank, ate, talked, and laughed. And I needed that. It's just what the doctor ordered, and I'm hoping that the prescription has a refill. The funny part? We old fogies turn in around 10:00. So it's 11:00, and I've talked with my boy (found out that he does, indeed, only have two pair of underwear...the rest really have gone missing. He'll be the next to grow a Rainforest in his nether-regions....) and to my husband, and I shall be turning in soon. Right after I give the Hackster, a.k.a. Griffin, a shot with the neb. It's that time of year again.

But for this very moment in time, I'm a contented Zookeeper. I'll savor it, and have it to look back on the next time I'm stepping ever closer to the edge.

Where am I Going Wrong?

...OK, so last night, as I was folding Mt. Needtofold, I folded just one pair of Collin's underwear. Yes, one. When I asked him whether or not he's been changing his underwear, he told me that he was. Well, we finally get it out of him that he was NOT changing his underwear because he didn't know where any other pairs were. Someone please tell me where I've gone wrong with this child? Why is he too scared to ask for help in finding a damn pair of underwear? So it seems I'm not the only one with an irritated ass around here. ;)

...Tonight I've been cleared to go out with my sister-in-law and a blogger buddy! I've spoken to my blogger bud on the phone, but haven't met her in person, so I'm stoked!

...Other than that, no big plans for the weekend. Housekeeping aside, that is. There always is a plan for that!

The Days Keep Ticking By.....

...I can't believe that it's already November. What happened to the summer? Wasn't it just summer? Holy Cow!

...So last night, I decided to go about trying to fix my broken nether-regions. When prompted as to why I was buying 100% Cotton undies, I told Aaron that Cotton was supposed to be more breathable. He put it best when he said that I have a rainforest down there, with all kinds of lovely growth. Which reminds me....I need to call and make an appointment to see my doc for the yearly bit o'fun. That, and you bet your bippy that I'm going to complain about this. The lack of sex is killing me. Killing. Me.

...There you have it. More than you wanted to know. Again. But then's my blog. *wink*

****update**** put into the doc for my yearly and my complaints? ....check! diapers changed, seven kids with socks and shoes on ready to go outside?....check!

hope everyone else's days are as productive!

***update, part deux***
....number of articles of clothing from Mt. Needtofold folded today?....0
....number of minutes spent sweeping feast on kitchen floor?....0
....number of kids finally sleeping after 2 near-miss homocides...6
....number of Zookeepers going to the doc to fix nether-regions...1
....number of library pockets made for birthday calendars....36

not outstanding, but not altogether off to begin folding laundry before crew wakes up.

***update, part drei (cos i really don't know how to spell three in french...)***
....and the day is nearing an end here in the Byers' household. I have conquered Mt.'s been disassembled, and each part will be relocated back to its home base shortly.

....I went to the doctor and discovered that I do, in fact have a yeast infection. Have secured the tablet, though, as have been having really bad luck with the creams. *sigh* Hopefully I can fix all broken parts soon.

....I'm really starting to fear the days that Erin is a teenager. She's as stubborn as anything. She flexing her independence muscles, insisting that she do everything herself. When she has trouble, she then gets pissed at ME for things not going according to plan.....I feel a fifteen year headache in the works.....

My Life is One Big Oxymoron.....'s me, sat on my lack of motivation, and i've decided to have a whack at creating christmas presents again this year. don't ask...i know that i'm not right in the head. part of me thinks that maybe i should be upping the anti-depressants or is no fun right now, and i know that a lot of it has to do with my perspective and how i've let myself believe that my life isn't worth it. not that i'm suicidal, but my house is a wreck, my face is spotty, my kids are digging into the halloween candy at will, and i could give two shits. this isn't good for anyone. i just haven't found my new perspective yet. if you see it, please send it my way, as i really need it right now..... *sigh*

***update, al a CMHL ****
...i've shoved about three or four loads of laundry through today, and cleaned up the kitchen a bit after each meal. i'm finding the perspective, and have reminded myself that i "have to care". does the fact that i haven't been caring make me a bad person?? i really wish that i'd been the one to grow up with neat-nick parents....

Am I the Only Parent....

....who's about ready to hate Halloween?? Oh, the sugar highs...oh, the fights over the candy...oh, the fights over picking up the wrappers from the candy.... year, I'm going to forget about Halloween. ;)

...And since I have not had the pics developed yet, feast your eyes on the ghosts of Halloween past....
