...ok, so that endorphine high lasted for about 10 hours. A bullet list of things wrong:
  • Griffin has decided he can't do anything on his own in the morning, reducing all of us to yelling and screaming, and eventually tears. On Monday, after the carnage that is getting the twins ready in the morning, I had a part of the song "Voices" by Disturbed rolling through my head. Good times.
  • My dishwasher is still on the fritz. My dishes are nearly as dirty when they come out of the damn thing as when they go in. Is starting to really piss me off.
  • I got to hang out on Keystone Ave for a bit this morning in very slow traffice., to not be a total miserable shit, I will say something good. Last night, I broke a couple of boards in class. The orange one and the black one. Was great fun. I broke my first board last week in class. Nervous about it, I chose the weenie yellow one. Was able to break it fairly easily. Went for the orange one next. The assistant sensei decided to mess with me and waited until I was geared up and then moved the board on me.... jerk. Then he let us at the black board. And I broke that one fairly easily. Was fun.

I'm with you, except my title would be "bitchy." I'm done dealing with stupid people for the week. My quota has been met. Stick a fork in me, I'm done.

Hope the day gets better! If not, go break some boards, grasshopper.

Make a list of what needs to be done in the morning. Those that do it can earn a reward.

I used to give Noah poker chips. He would save his poker chips up for a big reward like ice cream out or donuts or whatever. Or, I had a small box of crap toys and they could trade a chip in for a toy. The rewrd system totaly worked for us and made life better. Noah doesn't respond to punishment, but he responds for rewards so fast your head would spin.

I know it sounds odd, but the psychologist recommended it to us, so it isn't something crazy we came up with on our own. It is Child tested, doctor approved!

Guinea pigs are costly on a small boys allowance, so Scott loves you very much. And me? those two little piggies could not be cuter! I hope Noah falls in love with them. What could be better than "Rescue Piggies?" Why pay money at the pet store, I hate all those unethical puppy mill buying places. They say their doggies don't come from those places, but I hear from former employees that indeed they do!

I really really hope Noah likes the guinea pigs, too. I'd rather they be in a loving's been hard for me to pay to keep care of them lately, especially with all of the babies being born this summer. That would make me so happy if you guys can give them a good home.

I agree with Judy. Whatever is happening now isn't going to get better without some sort of change. Funny how some kids do better with different disciplines. Zach, I give him my evil look and he straightens right up. Em and Ally will do about anything for a sticker. Kyle needs to be threatened (it's so tiring but works). Kelly, well as Greg would say, she never does anything wrong! (Or I just don't discipline her, hehe)

Congrats on the boards! Did you keep your first one to scrapbook it? ;)

Maybe Griffin likes the attention he gets when you yell at him to do things:)You know this could be an attention getter. I used to use psycology on Rebecca but hard headed Paul had to learn the hard way and usually it had to be like "falling on his face" to get the picture. Ever wonder where Maggie gets some of her strong will? I am so proud of you, sure hope you are around if I need some protection.
P.S. I usually reward with Nana cupcakes.
Love you,
Nana S.
