A Good Saturday....

....of course it started off with Aaron letting me sleep in. I got up around 10:00. It's very nice to get to sleep in when I get up at 5:45 most days. After showering and all that fun stuff, we went to Skyline Chili for lunch. Aaron and the twins love it, Collin and I tolerate it. But to look at a table of five (or seven, in Katie's case), all you see is mounds and mounds of shredded cheddar cheese. Even Erin mentioned Wallace and Grommit off that one! After Skyline, we went to Half Price Books, where we got a ton of books and a They Might Be Giants "Here come the ABC's" album, all for $21! It was awesome.

....So, you know how I keep saying that my friends are awesome? Here is proof of that....my friends are very sweet to me, I tell you! They spend hours with me on the phone in the day so I don't go insane, they bring me Taco Bell because I can't get out during the week to get it for myself, they bring me chocolate when I have had a bad day, and they make me such wonderful things. So thank you, Judy, Katie, and Rebecca. You guys seriously rock.

WoooHooo I am mentioned in your blog. Wheeee for me! I love Half price Books, too. I went to Michaels today to check out their soap making kits and for some reason, bought nothing and came home pissed because my house has been dirty for weeks. I guess I was secretly hoping Scott would get the telepathic message I was sending that he should get off his ass and clean. Don't know how he could have missed it!

So,,. I came home and vaccuumed upstairs, can't do the downstairs as seth is watching Shark Tales again. I cleaned bathroom sinks and cleaned the large fake trees in my bedroom that had been covered in dust. Now I am itchy from the dust and just want to shower, although I am not really dirty at all, I just feel I am. Plus, i would LOVE the alone time a shower would give me. But Scott is out bike riding and I am home alone with Seth, who will come into my bathroom just to talk and see me and visit. He is too old to see me naked, so no shower for me. Just bitchiness instead.

I don't know why I didn't buy any soap stuff, I have Michaels coupons....maybe I'll get to Joanns or Hobby Lobby and check out their stuff as well. Or maybe I'll just sit and bitch instead. yeah, that is much more likely.

My mother has become a coupon hog! She used to, faithfully, bring me the Michael's ad every week. WELL, she started taking a cake decorating class and she is now using her coupons to purchase items at Michaels. She has her neighbor give her a coupon and she has the elderly lady in an apartment she visits save her hers and on top of all this...she has the elderly ladies friends save them for her too! ARG! Stingy, stingy, stingy! (LOL! I see where I get my shopping habits from....)
