Oy... We're In Trouble....

...I always said how scared I was of having a daughter. Case in point. Yesterday, I get a call from Collin. Now, he doesn't usually call me (like I would like for him to!) after school when they all get home. So, I immediately ask him what the deal is. He says "The twins are home safe and sound." "Yes, but what do you want?" I reply. "Well," he says, pausing, "When Erin got off the bus, she had her DS in her hand." Nice. So she's grounded the rest of the week from it.

...but wait! That's not all! (am I sounding like a Sham-Wow commercial?) Anyway, I decide that perhaps is ok if she can play the Wii. So before I go to karate, they set themselves up to play. In between classes, I get a text message from Aaron, stating that Erin got pissed off and KNOCKED THE WII CONSOLE OVER! Good God-almighty!

What does Erin love? Think hard about it, then take it away for a week, no matter how much moaning she does. If her punishment hurts enough (not in the physical sense of course)she may make better choices in the future.

Nay, those little piggies are stil so cute. We let them out everyday and have snuggle time in bed with them. (Noah brings them in at bedtime so we can say goodnight.) But last night Emerald (Emily) bit my ear. I don't know why. Maybe she loves me so much she thought she'd see if I taste good.

Maggie lost Wii and t.v. for two nights because of fit throwing. If I take one away - I take them both because she won't miss one if she has the other. Anyway, it forced me to be a better mother for a change and play with her! We had a really fun night. (That sounds awful.)I do try - but it's so easy to fall into letting her watch t.v. or play Wii for way too long because then I get personal time. Stephenie
