So Nothing Much Ado Today....

....the whole gang is here today. But it's been pretty good. We danced to "Elmopalooza", played with puzzles, blew bubbles, and colored Peanuts pictures. We also watched bits of The Incredibles. Erin and Griffin have really been interested in them lately. It's quite cute. Every so often, I'll hear one of them humming the theme tune.

....The weather changed again, which has left my sinuses in a tizzy. I think we're even supposed to get some snow flakes again, too. So much for Spring. If anyone sees the fucking groundhog, give him a good kick in the head for me.

....So this past Sunday, Aaron had some friends over to do a Fantasy Baseball draft. You know, our house is always in with the sports, but this time of year is fairly ludicrous with how often we're watching or listening or reading sports. When I get into the car, I have to switch it off of the AM radio. When I turn on the television, I have to switch the channel from ESPN. *sigh* I suppose there are worse things to be than a Sports-Fan Widow.

I found the cutest jacket at wal Mart, so I bought it, but the sleeves are way too long. So, I took it to the tailor yesterday and it will be done on saturday, before we leave for gatlinburg for a few days next week. Today I wake up and remember an earlier weather forecast where they were saying the weather would be in the 60's this week. I left the house with no coat because I can't possibly wear the old pleather jackjet anymore, since I have this new cute one that I am saving myself for.Holy Smokes! It's cold out today! And wet and drizzly too! Damn! I want to go back to bed as this weather just makes me tired, but I have to run Seth to Mad Science after school and pick him up just one hour later, after driving carpool for the third time today. Third time you wonder? Yes, took three kids to Folk Dance Club before school, had three to bring home after Morning KG and have another three to drive home after school. All this and I don't even like kids all that much. I mean, mine are okay, but other people's....Hmmmm..

Since Aaron is headed to geratricville, at least he can fantasize about sports...a boy's gotta dream, I guess.

You could be a football coach's widow...that is the pity that is my life. I really used to think that football was just a fall sport...shit was I wrong!!! And now that we have the satellite TV and the NFL channel, well it NEVER ends.
