So Far Today, I have....

...fed four kids breakfast.
...made and played with red playdough.
...cleaned up mess.
...doled out five snacks of graham cracker sticks.
...made and painted with red cornstarch.
...cleaned up mess.
...made and doled out five lunches.
...cleaned up mess.
...made "what i did today" lists for three kids for what we've done so far today.
...hung them up on the bulletin board.

Not too shabby if I do say so myself. I would really love to keep this momentum going. Am hoping that the kids will be good nappers today so that I can fold some laundry and do something else, but forget what it is. Relaxing is on the list, too.

Tonight, my assistant's family is coming over for chicken and noodles. It's in thank you for the man of the house cleaning up our yard for us. You see, it's pissing down rain today. Pissed down rain yesterday, and will piss down rain tomorrow. And the next day. And then it will be very cold. So the fact that this man spent 35 minutes of a beautiful Saturday afternoon doing something that would have taken us four hours is something that needs to be repaid! I'm excited to have them come over tonight, as I have a relatively clean house, and am dying to be able to have people in it without cringing. I just wish this cleaning momentum were here before Thanksgiving. ;) I know my family still loves me, despite my abundance of dust and fridge funkiness. LOL

Other than that, life is good today in the Zoo. *said in a whisper as not to anger the Daycare Gods and suffer their terrible wrath*
