the best part of my little beauty salon sessions with the nearly four year-old animal at the zoo is that she tells me "you look so beautiful...you need to take mr. byron (supposed to be mr. byers, but that's how she says it) and go out to dinner"

this is when being the zookeeper is so much fun, and when i really love that i have a little girl....get down, right now, on your knees and pray with me that she remains her girly-girl self and will do my hair, too when she's three! :)
